Ascensions counseling believes that we are made in the image of God and therefore have been created to be in relationship to the one who created us and with others in our sphere of influence. We are all touched by individuals and we influence others through our daily living. However, life brings hardships sometimes through these relationships, circumstances, uncertainty and those things completely out of our control. We can feel overwhelmed, depressed and anxious and as if we are all alone dealing with these difficulties. Ascensions counseling provides for you the opportunity to have a caring counselor come along side and help you regain a healthy perspective and develop healthy relationships with God, loved ones and your community. We provide an opportunity for individuals to seek guidance so that they will not feel alone as they deal with difficult habits, circumstances and relationships. Ascensions counseling will bring the perspective of biblical truth to areas of personal, family and marriage issues.

 

Individual
Ascensions counseling believes in the truth that Jesus spoke from Isaiah 61: 1-3 “He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners..to comfort all who mourn, to give a crown of beauty instead of ashes,..and joy instead of despair.” From time to time we need to be reminded that God keeps his promises. We all struggle with sin in our lives but sometimes we can feel like we are struggling to stay afloat and the undercurrent might suck us under. Sometimes the sin overtakes us and we are held captive to the habit or hangup. God promises that we can be free of these despairing difficulties. Ascensions counseling would like to help you walk this path of healing together. Through a partnership of walking difficult paths together, Ascensions counseling will provide the necessary clinical and spiritual support to help individuals experience this biblical truth.
